2024 Evening of Elegance
The Chicago Society of the PNA cordially invites you to join us at our Evening of
Elegance. The gala event will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Park
Ridge Country Club, Park Ridge, Illinois. During this event, we will install the 2024
Officers and Directors.
This year, we are honoring the Paderewski Symphony Orchestra, which debuted
at the auditorium of the Washington Public Library in October 1995 and received
great enthusiasm from the multi-ethnic public. In 1999, the orchestra took the
name of the great artist who served the Polish and American nations, Ignacy Jan
Paderewski – a pianist, composer, diplomat, and the first Prime Minister of a
reborn Poland in 1919. Since then, PaSO has continued serving the Polish
Community. The organization, led by General Director Barbara Bliszta and Music
Director Wojciech Niewrzol, has gone from a small chamber ensemble to a
cultural organization with permanent staff, over 40 volunteers, its Choir, and an
Academy of Music for children and youth. PaSO continues promoting and
supporting music education among children, youth, and adults in our community,
enriching Chicago’s cultural life by adding to it the beauty and value of Polish
culture and serving as a cultural bridge between the Polish-American community
and other communities in Chicago.
We will also present Honorable Diann K. Marsalek with the Romuald “Ro”
Matuszczak Member of the Year Award.
The evening will start at 6:00 pm with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Music will be provided by our own Brother Anthony Kawalkowski and his Orchestra. Tickets for this event will be $175 per person which will include a dinner choice of Petite Filet & Roasted French Breast of Chicken, Chicken Piccata & Salmon or Vegetarian. Black-tie is optional for this event but always welcome. Look out for the invitation in the near future.
We will also have a program book for this event. The program book will allow you to demonstrate your support for the Chicago Society and Paderewski Symphony Orchestra by placing a congratulatory message or advertisement. Full page ads are $200, half page are $100 and quarter page are $50. Inside front and back as well as outside back covers are also available on a first come first serve basis.
