The 2012 Inaugural Ball Ball of the Chicago Society PNA took place at Beau Jolie by Victoria in Schiller Park, Illinois, a penthouse banquet facility just east of O'Hare International Airport. Music was provided by the Tony Kawalkowski Orchestra and this video displays his versatility, as well as some of the relatively unreserved fun that the guests had at this formal event.
The Polonia Ensemble entertained with Polish song and dance at the Christmas Meeting and Party of the Chicago Society PNA on December 21, 2011, at White Eagle Banquets in Niles, Illinois. The ensemble has received substantial support from the Chicago Society Foundation. This video is the first at the Chicago Society's YouTube channel to be produced and presented in 1080p HD.
This is just over 5 minutes of video clips from the 2011 Polish Constitution Day Parade that went on for almost 3 hours in downtown Chicago. It is just a small taste of the entire march with emphasis on the float of the Chicago Society PNA, which featured music by Polka Generations. A marching unit from the Chicago Society, carrying the organization's banner, preceded the float.
The Chicago Society PNA participated in the Polish Constitution Day Parade on May 7, 2011, with a marching unit and a float featuring the Polka Generations band. The band is seen in this clip entertaining the crowd just as the parade begins its way on Balboa Drive in downtown Chicago.
Danny Mateja & The Downtown Sound provided the music for the Śledź, a Polish-style Mardi Gras, held on the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. This year's celebration was held by the Chicago Society PNA on March 8, 2011, at La Villa on Pulaski Road in Chicago.
The newly elected President, Officers and Directors of the Chicago Society PNA were sworn in at an Inaugural Ball on January 22, 2011, at Café la Cave in Des Plaines, Illinois. Dance music was provided by the Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra. The video was made under extreme low light conditions and enhanced for viewing to the extent practicable.
The Deserving Children's Party of the Chicago Society PNA began with hot dogs, chips, milk and soda accompanied by kolędy provided by Kamil Bartoszcze and singers from St. Albert the Great Church. The food and music was followed by 17-year-old magician Blake Alexander. Finally, Santa Claus arrived and distributed individually selected gifts for the almost 90 children. The party took place on December 18, 2010, at the Polish National Alliance Building in Chicago, Illinois.
The Polonia Song and Dance Ensemble performed dances from the Rzeszow Region at the Christmas Party of the Chicago Society PNA on December 15, 2010. The Chicago Society Foundation has made several grants to the Ensemble over the last few years to assist the preservation of Polish traditions. The event took place at White Eagle Banquets in Niles, Illinois, where a member of the Chicago Society, Andrew Przybylo, is a proprietor.
