MATT SLOWIK'S 85TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Matthew W. Slowik, a member of the Chicago Society for 50 years, celebrated his 85th birthday with family, friends, associates and numerous Chicago Society members at the Black Ram in Des Plaines, Illinois, on July 29, 2006.

Dinner music was provided by member Anthony Kawalkowski. The invocation preceding the meal was delivered by William Powell.

Matt was a former Ward committeeman, veteran and constant supporter of Polish American causes. Sadly, he passed away in January, 2007.
