2009 FAMILY AND FRIENDS PICNIC

Because it proved tobe so popular last year, the Family and Friends Picnic for 2009 was again held at the Busse West Grove #31 of the Forest Preserve District. The event was well planned by Co-Chairmen Richard Bivins and James Kopka, assisted by an able committee, under the leadership of Social Activities Director Mark Hrycko. A new banner was designed by Frank Czaja to mark the picnic locale. Romuald Matuszczak and his wife, Chris, organized and presented a raffle with numerous prizes.

There was plenty of delicious food, desserts and drink, to satisfy a large attendance of members, family and friends. In addition to the typical camaraderie, there was games, music and a raffle. Although the weather had not been very pleasant in the preceding days, it was a beautiful day, perfect for a picnic.
