| The Chicago Society supports events sponsored by other
organizations and that was particularly obvious at the Palm Sunday
Luncheon of the Polish Women's Civic Club (PWCC), where many Chicago
Society members, their wives and their friends were present. The
PWCC originated as the Women's Auxiliary of the Chicago Society, but
branched off as an independent organization many years ago. The Palm
Sunday Luncheon benefits it scholarship program.
