Members, spouses, associates and friends gathered on December 16, 2009, for a Christmas Party at Lone Tree Manor in Niles, Illinois. A family style dinner followed the Pledge of Allegiance led by Marian Skawski, invocation by Frank Czaja and a very brief meeting presided over by President Charles Komosa.

Everyone shared the traditional opłatki [Christmas wafers], wishing each other a happy holiday and good fortune in the new year.

Entertainment was provided by the Polonia Song and Dance Ensemble, which has received several grants from the Chicago Society and the Chicago Society Foundation. The evening then concluded with a raffle and music.
