The December Meeting was in actuality more party than it was meeting, although necessary business functions were performed. Held at White Eagle Banquets in Niles, Illinois, it featured a full dinner and a two-hour open bar. The event was open to members and their guests.  .

Entertainment was provided by the Young Polonia Dance Group, which has received grants from the Chicago Society Foundation. The excellent performing group presented Polish and English carols, the Polonaise and the Mazur, much to the delight of those in attendance.

Following the announcement of coming events, plaques were presented to those who have been Chicago Society members for fifty years.

The evening ended with dancing and good Christmas cheer.
