MEETING OF OCTOBER, 2005

A presentation was made by Richard Ciesla, President of the Chicago Society Foundation, detailing the history of the Foundation, from its origins in the Chicago Society Building Foundation through the transfer of funds to the Society's philanthropic arm. He also explained the  tax deductible status of donations made to the Foundation and listed the various grants that the Foundation has made since its inception in 1999.

Following a question and answer period, the membership enjoyed a buffet dinner catered by Kasia's Deli.
