MEETING OF AUGUST, 2008

Author James Conroyd Martin was the guest speaker at the Chicago Society's August Meeting. His popular works include "Push Not the River" and its sequel, "Against a Crimson Sky."

As is customary during the height of Summer, attendance was somewhat lower than in the rest of the year, largely due to vacations.

The meeting was held at the building of the Eagles Soccer Club on the Northwest Side of Chicago, Illinois. The buffet dinner was catered by Kasia's Deli.
