The July Meeting took place at the Copernicus Center with a guest speaker from Dar Serca [Gift From The Heart] Foundation, which assists young Poles who are in need of medical attention. The speaker, Krystyna Pasek was introduced by Brother John Wojciechowski, who is active with the organization.
Children who have benefited from the work of Dar Serca were also present and one young lady, a student, briefly addressed the membership.

Another member, Brother Mark Kupiec, has helped Dar Serca on a pro bono basis with legal problems relating to its building.

An impromptu collection brought $640 in donations from Chicago Society members.

Stuart Goldman was inducted as a member by Brother Richard Jadczak, who stood in for Personnel Director Charles Cwiakala.

Dinner was catered by Kasia's Deli.
