MEETING OF APRIL, 2006
A fascinating speech was delivered at our April Meeting by Ralph M.
Price, Commander of the Chicago Police Department's 16th District. A
Polish American himself, he leads a district that has a very high
percentage of Poles. Under his leadership, together with the legacy
of prior commanders, it has one of the lowest crime rates in the
city.
A fine buffet dinner was served by Kasia's Deli, whose proprietor,
Kasia Bober, was personally present to oversea the service.
Encouraged by House Director Tony Kawalkowski, many members remained
after the business meeting to enjoy the camaraderie that has long
been a hallmark of the Chicago Society
