CHICAGO SOCIETY

MEETING OF FEBRUARY, 2007

The February meeting, which fell on Ash Wednesday, began with the presentation of scholarship grants, administered by the Chicago Society and given by the Chicago Society Foundation. It was followed by dinner, a presentation by Brother Ron Olech about current income tax laws and regulations, and our monthly business meeting.

The gathering took place at the Lone Tree Manor in Niles, Illinois, in accord with this year's plan to rotate meeting places, predominantly among Polish American restaurants and banquet halls.

Brother John Domagalski brought Bogdan Socha, Undersecretary of State, Polish Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, as his guest. Minister Socha not only posed for pictures with members, but also joined us at the famous "meeting after the Meeting."

Photos were taken by Bill Drozd and processed for the website by T. Ron Jasinski-Herbert.
