MEETING OF JANUARY, 2009

The January meeting saw the passing of the gavel from out-going President T. Ron Jasinski-Herbert to newly elected President Charles A. Komosa. The other officers and directors also assumed their new posts.

Steve Bernas, head of the Better Business Bureau, addressed the membership about the well known private organization that protects consumers by informing them about unreliable businesses. Dr. Victor Forys, a guest, also spoke to the meeting.

The dinner was catered by Kasia's Deli, which has been a favorite of the Chicago Society for many years.
