MEETING OF JANUARY, 2008

The first meeting of the year featured Paul S. Valasek, who spoke about his new book, "Haller's  Polish Army in france." He stayed after the meeting to autograph books and answer questions about a very interesting interlude in history.

Plans for upcoming events, including the Inaugural Ball and the Sledz (Polish Mardi Gras).

The meeting took place at Sawa's Old Warsaw in Broadview, Ill., where members enjoyed the Polish-style smorgasbord of Brother Stuart Sawa.
