The Chicago Society held its 98th Inaugural Ball on January 30, 2010, which featured a ceremonial installation of its new officers and directors. The swearing in was conducted by Cook County Judge Diann K. Marsalek. A brief address was given by the reelected President, Charles A. Komosa.

Ball Chairman Conrad Miczko officiated as Master of Ceremonies. He and Personnel Director John Wojciechowski presented the Booster Award plaque to Charles Komosa for sponsoring the most new members during the preceding year.

The 2010 Inaugural Ball took place at Cafe le Cave in suburban Des Plaines, Illinois, where guests enjoyed a dinner highlighted by a choice of filet mignon, filet of salmon or breasts of chicken. Music was provided by the Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra.
