INAUGURAL BALL 2008
The Chicago Society honored its newly elected officers on January
26, 2008, at its 96th Inaugural Ball, which featured a ceremonial
installation. The swearing in was conducted by Auxiliary Bishop
Thomas Paprocki of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Hon. Patrick Levar, Alderman of Chicago's 45th Ward, presented
President T. Ron Jasinski-Herbert with a Proclamation of the City
Council honoring him at the time of his installation for a second
term.
The 2008 Inaugural Ball took place at Cafe le Cave in suburban Des
Plaines, Illinois, where guests enjoyed a dinner highlighted by a
choice of chateaubriand or Chilean bass. Music was provided by the
12-piece Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra.
