INAUGURAL BALL 2007
The Chicago Society honors its newly elected officers each year at
an Inaugural Ball, which features a ceremonial installation. The
swearing in was conducted by Frank J. Spula, President of the Polish
National Alliance and Polish American Congress, who had himself been
inducted as a member of the Chicago Society a week earlier.
The 2007 Inaugural Ball took place at Cafe le Cave in suburban Des
Plaines, Illinois, where guests enjoyed a dinner highlighted by a
choice of chateaubriand or Chilean bass. Music was provided by the
12-piece Anthony Kawalkowski Orchestra.
