FRIENDS & FAMILY CORNED BEEF DINNER

The Chicago Society  held a Couples and Friends Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner annually for many years. It was replaced by a more Polish event for two prior years, but returned in 2009 at the request of several members who missed conversations with leprechauns.

This year's festivities took place on March 12, 2006, in the Hall of Kings of Chicago's Copernicus Center. The corned beef is always prepared by Harrington's, known throughout Chicagoland for its excellent preparation and service. A raffle permitted many guests to go home with excellent prizes.

Chairmen for the event were Charles Komosa, who also serves as the Society's President and PNA National Secretary, and Paul Odrobina, PNA National Vice President.
