The Chicago Society's Pre-Parade Brunch at the Congress Plaza Hotel in Downtown Chicago on May 7, 2005, was attended by numerous leaders of the Polonia and government officials. The event was held on the Saturday following the official commemoration of Poland's May 3rd, 1791, Constitution, the second written democratic constitution in the world.

The brunch was chaired by Ro Matuszczak, ably assisted by his wife, Chris. Co-chairmen were Matt Kutza and T. Ron Jasinski-Herbert.

Following the brunch, the Chicago Society participated in the parade on Columbus Drive with a marching unit and trolley.
